The Elfer in the Stubai Valley
The Elfer is one of Tyrol's most spectacular paragliding launch sites. At over 1,800 metres above sea level, it offers breathtaking views across the entire Stubai Valley, the surrounding mountain peaks, and the Stubai Glacier. The reliable mountain thermals make Elfer an ideal location for tandem paragliding, providing safe and unforgettable flights throughout the year.
Meeting point: At the ticket office of the Elfer cable car valley station in Neustift in the Stubai Valley, where Peter will be waiting to welcome you. From there, you'll take the cable car to the launch site before soaring silently above alpine meadows, forests, and mountain peaks on your unforgettable flight back down into the valley.
Getting Here by Car
The meeting point at the Elfer cable car valley station in Neustift in the Stubai Valley is easy to reach by car. Simply follow the A13 Brenner Motorway to the Schönberg exit, then continue through the Stubai Valley to Neustift. A large public car park is available directly next to the Elfer cable car station.
Getting Here by Bus from Innsbruck
Getting from Innsbruck to Neustift in the Stubai Valley by bus is quick and easy. Regional bus routes 590, 591, 592, and 593 run directly from Innsbruck Central Station to Neustift in the Stubai Valley, with a journey time of around 40 minutes. Get off at the "Neustift Abzw. Elferbahn" stop, then it's just a short walk to the valley station of the Elfer cable car.
